Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and vocalist. Beautiful, intelligent and gifted actor, she's an example to Asian actors who want to become big names in Hollywood. She gained fame after several popular characters in television shows. For instance, in The Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. She translated her newfound fame into roles on the big screen in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. She gave a stellar performance as Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. During this time she was the main character in several flops at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became an actor in voice for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's tiny screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland was a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that featured Liu in recurring roles, helped her reestablish her as an actress.
