Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most recognizable part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's produced, directed and starred for her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Additionally, she was the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson is the son born on the 8th of January 1977 to Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle is her older sister and is an artist. Her father, Benson's was Jewish as was her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to a Reform community in Alabama. Since Buffy came to an end, Benson has appeared in movies like The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. While behind the lens Benson utilized her writing talent to create her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy claims that she's identified and counted as many as 1800 Slayers and 500 of them work with members of the Scooby Gang.
