
Kelly Clarkson became the personification of the American Dream when she won the very first episode of American Idol. In the wake of moving to a different record company , with more influence over her style Her second album went on to become one of the top-selling albums by "American Idol" alumni. The highlights of her career include traveling extensively, recording many Top Ten songs, publishing two albums that were multi-Platinum, and being an instructor and writing much of the music she has written. She also has numerous honors. Four American Music Awards were presented to her. There were also twelve Billboard Music Awards. She also received the honor of two Grammy Awards and three MTV Video Music Awards. To date, she has earned 98 major awards for music nominations, winning seventy of them.
